Circulate the returnable packaging that is right for your goods, and right for your customers.

Let us be clear - we are not a container company.

Again Again is an open technology platform.

FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS it means it is super simple for them to use their phones, like library cards, to access the returnable containers you offer them. It’s free for them unless they don’t return the containers in a timely manner.

FOR YOUR BUSINESS it means

  • You choose the containers. We’ll support any containers… food boxes, cups, flagons. It is entirely up to you. You know what containers are best!

  • You get to control the user experience and ensure that it delivers on your brand promise to your customers.

  • You also get to control procurement, leveraging your existing supply chain advantages. (Although, we can help, if you’d like us to.)

  • The front of house experience is seamless, via a mobile app and an NFC scan station at the counter. Demo here. We don’t tag the containers, so you don’t have to marry up the actual container to the sales transaction. Soon this transaction will also be able to be integrated into your POS or e-commerce transactions, offering an even better customer experience.

  • You will receive data insights, including your impact metrics, via a vendor portal, and

  • You will benefit from significant cost savings. Returnables can be 30% cheaper than single-use packaging procurement, even considering the higher initial purchase cost.

Brand network Case study

Havana Coffee Works

From October 2022, Havana Coffee Works are managing their own branded returnable cups system, making them the first major coffee roaster nationally in Aotearoa to do so.

Again Again is thrilled to be supporting this initiative, which utilises our software platform to make the workflow seamless, to track transactions, and to protect the financial investment that Havana has put into the cups. Further, our profit-share model is creating an alternative revenue stream that will eventually replace (and be better than) the revenue that is currently generated from single-use waste packaging.

We acknowledge and give huge respect to Havana, and their parent company, Lion, for the activation campaign that they have wrapped around the initiative, Ground for Good, which leverages local gifting to support the activation of end users to adopt the returnable packaging system.

Distributors: extend your returnable network across all your vendor partners

With legislation pending and a growing urgency to address the waste issues of a linear economy, comes great opportunity.

Again Again offers packaging distributors a new market revenue opportunity, utilising a lease model.

FOR DISTRIBUTORS, you will invest in a branded fleet of containers and make these available to your partner vendors. Again Again will charge your vendors a premium usage fee as the vendors have not had to set up the network for themselves. Again Again will enter into a profit share agreement with you, the distributor.

8.30 min video overview, exploring the why and how of setting up a branded circular packaging system. Also dives into the economics of establishing and monetising off such a system.

Your brand will benefit from:

  • Greater return on your investment, when compared to the sales of single-use containers, even when including the amortisation of costs incurred in the establishment of the leasable fleet.

  • Maintain the brand message in consumers’ hands that you currently enjoy with branded single-use packaging.

  • Get ahead of the curve and create a replacement revenue stream for the income you currently enjoy from single-use packaging. This revenue is already threatened by legislative changes on the horizon, or already in place, in multiple geographies.
